Terms and conditions

Who these terms are between
The seller is Magnetic Screens Company, a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, trading at magneticinsectscreens.net. The buyer is the person or organisation placing the order. Goods means the products the buyer has ordered.
Payment
Payment is due when the order is placed. If payment is not received, or the payment method is declined, the order is not placed and nothing ships.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express, and we accept PayPal. Prices are shown in US dollars. No sales tax is added at checkout.
Shipping
Delivery is free across the USA on orders over $75. Under that, delivery is $25. Express delivery is $25 and is available at any order value.
Free delivery applies to orders shipped inside the United States. An order shipped outside the country is quoted separately and additional shipping is charged.
If an item is lost in transit we refund the item and the shipping. If an item arrives damaged, tell us within a reasonable time and send a photograph, and we will replace it or refund it.
We ship from more than one logistics centre. Some orders are dispatched from our facility in Thailand by DHL Express, and where that happens US customs duties or import fees may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient. Full detail is on the shipping page.
Returns and cancellation
Returns are accepted within 15 days of purchase. A $22 per item handling fee applies, the buyer pays the return shipping, and custom made screens cannot be returned. The full conditions are on the refunds and returns page.
An order can be cancelled at any time before it ships. A 12.5 percent service and processing fee applies to a cancellation once payment has been taken. Most orders ship within 24 to 48 hours, so tell us quickly.
Your rights under US law
There is no general federal right in the United States to cancel an online order, so the 15 day window above is this shop's own policy rather than a statutory one.
Separately, the goods we sell carry the implied warranty of merchantability under the Uniform Commercial Code as adopted in your state, and any written warranty is governed by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Those rights always apply, they are never subject to a fee, and nothing on this page reduces them.
Under the Federal Trade Commission's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule we must ship within the time we state, or within 30 days if we state none. If we cannot, we will tell you, and you can agree to the delay or take a prompt refund.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the state in which the buyer takes delivery, and nothing in them removes a right that state law gives you.
