Who we are

What we collect and why

We collect the information we need to sell you a screen and get it to you: your name, delivery and billing address, email address and phone number. We collect it when you order, when you ask for a quote, when you email us, and through cookies when you use the site.

We use it to fulfil and deliver your order, to answer you, to keep proper accounting records, and, if you have asked for them, to send marketing emails. You can unsubscribe from those at any time.

Payment details

We never see or store your full card number. Card payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal on their own systems.

Who else sees it

Only the people who have to: our payment processors, the warehouse that packs your order, the courier that carries it, and our email and analytics providers. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to keep your cart, remember your delivery choice and measure how the site is used through Google Analytics. You can decline non-essential cookies from the banner or block them in your browser, and the shop still works.

Your rights

There is no single federal privacy statute covering an online purchase in the United States. Where a state law gives you rights, they apply: California residents can ask under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, for a copy of the personal information we hold, for it to be deleted, and to opt out of any sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, and we honour the same request from anyone who asks, wherever they live.

Email theteam@magneticinsectscreens.net and we will answer within 30 days. If you think we have got something wrong, tell us first and we will try to fix it.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.
